At Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic, our mission has always been to provide quality healthcare to those in need. We are excited to announce our latest endeavor – the construction of a new clinic in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This expansion is driven by our commitment to serving the growing community and addressing transportation issues that some of our patients have been facing when trying to reach our Sevierville, TN location.

Why Gatlinburg?

Growing Community: Gatlinburg is a picturesque town nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, attracting tourists from all over the world. With this influx of visitors and residents, the local community has been steadily growing. As the population increases, so does the need for accessible healthcare services.  In addition, the local workforce may include seasonal and part-time workers who do not have medical insurance.   Our new clinic in Gatlinburg will help us meet the rising demand for medical care and ensure that more people have access to essential healthcare services.

Transportation Challenges: Many of our patients have faced transportation challenges when trying to reach our Sevierville location. Gatlinburg is located approximately 15 miles away from Sevierville, and for some patients, the journey can be a significant barrier to receiving the care they require.  By establishing a clinic in Gatlinburg, we aim to eliminate this transportation hurdle, making it easier for individuals to access our services.

Benefits of the New Clinic:

Convenience: Our new clinic in Gatlinburg will be strategically located along the last trolley stop in Gatlinburg, to serve the local population. Patients will have easier access to the healthcare they need without the burden of a long and often expensive commute.

Improved Quality of Care: By expanding our services to Gatlinburg, we can enhance the quality of care we provide. Our experienced medical professionals will be able to reach more patients, offer timely treatments, and build stronger patient-doctor relationships with the local community.

Community Impact: Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic is deeply committed to the communities we serve. By establishing a presence in Gatlinburg, we will be able to engage with residents and work closely with community organizations to address healthcare disparities and promote overall health to the community and workforce.

Support Our Mission: As a non-profit clinic, we rely on the support of our donors, volunteers, and community members to fulfill our mission of providing quality healthcare to those in need. The construction of the new clinic in Gatlinburg is an exciting step towards better serving our community.
