Gus Floodquist

Director

Gus Floodquist joined the Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic Board of Directors with more than two decades of banking experience and a longstanding commitment to serving the Sevier County community. A lifelong resident of Sevierville, Gus serves as a Relationship Manager with SmartBank in Gatlinburg, where he has built strong relationships with local businesses and community members throughout his 22-year banking career.

Gus has a deep passion for community involvement and has dedicated his time to numerous organizations and leadership roles. He is a member of Alder Branch Baptist Church, The Gideons International and the Gatlinburg Rotary Club. He has also served as a past director of the Gatlinburg Convention & Visitors Bureau and currently serves on the Gatlinburg Environmental & Design Review Board.

Gus earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1991. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, running, camping and spending time with his wife, Julie, and their son, Skyler, who is a cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
