Jason Brackins is Clinic Supervisor in charge of day-to-day medical operations at Mountain Hope. He is a certified Physician Assistant with a long and distinguished career in the United States Coast Guard behind him. He joined in 1992 and retired with the rank of lieutenant commander in October of  2016. During his service he earned a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, and managed a number of clinics providing primary and other care for Coast Guard staff and their families. He received high patient satisfaction scores and three Coast Guard 4 Commendation Medals among the various other awards. He and his family reside in Gatlinburg, where he enjoys mentoring youth.
