Linda Shults has been associated with Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic in various capacities since 2000. After her retirement, she has become more involved with the Clinic. While associated with the Clinic, she has served as President of the Clinic’s Board of Directors, treasurer, and chaired the finance and personnel committees.

In 2012, Linda retired from a natural gas utility as Senior Vice President of Finance. During her tenure with the Utility, she became involved in both state and national gas associations. At the state level, she served on and chaired several committees of the Tennessee Gas Association (TGA). At the national level, she served on various committee of the American Public Gas Association (APGA).

Linda joined the Seymour Breakfast Rotary Club in 1992.3 At that time, the Seymour Club has less than 30 members, which offered the opportunity to become involved in several areas of Rotary. She served as Secretary for to years, and in 2000, she became President. After graduating from Rotary District 6780 Leadership Academy in 2003, she was appointed to the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) and the Global Scholar Committee. Linda later served as chair of RYLA, and she continues today to serve on both committees. In 2014, she was asked to serve as Assistant District Governor of the five Sevier County Clubs for a three-year period. Also Linda is a Paul Harris Fellow.

In 2001, Linda graduated from the Leadership Sevier program. Currently, she is serving as a volunteer for the organization and attends the program days for Leadership Tomorrow programs.

Linda is a member of First Friends Church of Knoxville and serves as treasurer of the Church. She lives in Seymour with her dog, Hartley.
