Marty graduated from Franklin County High School in 1980. He then graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1985 with a degree in Business Finance. That same year, he married Becky. Marty started working at Carl Hatcher Furniture in 1985 also. In 1992, he became the owner of Carl Hatcher Furniture. Him and Becky have three children who all work in Sevierville. They also have four precious grandchildren. Marty is still the owner of Carl Hatcher Furniture today. Marty is the Vice President of Sevierville Noon Day Rotary and he is a member of the Sevierville Beer Board. He loves to go fishing, traveling with Becky, golfing with friends and spending time with his family
