Christie Balog

Christie is the current Association Coordinator for the Pigeon Forge Hospitality and Tourism Association handling both executive managment duties for the association and the management of the Pigeon Forge Housing Bureau for the past seven years. The Pigeon Forge Housing Bureau is a joint venture between the city of Pigeon Forge and the PFHTA established to secure lodging for groups attending events at the LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge.

With a 15 year background in project management for the Pipeline Integrity industry in Michigan, Oklahoma and Texas; she supervised Project Coordinator teams responsible for Cathodic Protection/Corrosion Control installations/construction and engineering projects nationwide. Christie is a member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) and has a various training certifications in the field of Project Management Accounting. Christie is also a 2020 graduate of Leadership Sevier.

Christie came to the area in 2010 when she reunited with the love of her life, Curtis Balog who moved here in 2001 from Michigan. They married in 2011 and together have 4 children and the youngest attends Sevierville High School. A member of Rotary International/Pigeon Forge club and passionate about the people in the community she proudly now calls home. Other interests include; swimming, fishing, hiking, roller skating (yes,roller skating!!), baking, gardening, music and travel.
