Ashley Burnette graduated from Carson-Newman College with a degree in Communications and Philosophy.  She joined Mountain Hope Clinic in 2012 and is responsible for public relations and raising the money needed to keep the Clinic operational, often through grant writing and planning fundraising events. Ashley enjoys speaking with groups about Mountain Hope as a resource in the community, and also assists with volunteer management. You can often find her knees-deep in event planning, perhaps her favorite part of the job, “I love getting to interact with members of this community.  The people of Sevier County have amazing hearts and their compassion for their friends and neighbors is nothing short of phenomenal,” she says, “I feel extremely blessed to be a part of it.”

In addition to working with Mountain Hope, she operates her own business, Riser Creative, which focuses on web design, SEO, and content writing for clients throughout the USA, Australia, and Europe. She also teaches on a wide variety of computer-related subjects. She feels blessed to play her part at the Clinic, which she sees as making our corner of the world a better place.
