Lynn McClurg is the Chief Financial Officer and City Recorder of the City of Sevierville and has served in that capacity since May 1996.

Lynn obtained her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, Florida in 1985.  She obtained her Masters in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance from the University of Houston, Houston, Texas in 1993.  In addition, she has completed numerous continuing education courses.  She is a State of Tennessee Certified Municipal Finance Officer.

Prior to employment with the City of Sevierville, Lynn worked as a Senior Financial Analyst with Ranger Insurance Company, Houston, Texas.  In her spare time, she enjoys travel and hiking.

Lynn is married to Dr. Greg McClurg and has two daughters; Rylie is a junior at the University of Tennessee and Carah is a freshman at the University of Tennessee.

Lynn is a member of Seymour United Methodist Church, where she has served on various committees.  She has been a member of the Sevierville Rotary Club since 1998, holding officer positions over the years.  She is a member of Leadership Sevier, class of 2005.

When asked why she chose to serve on the Mountain Hope Board, Lynn responded that she believes the Clinic “provides tremendous and much needed services for the citizens of Sevierville and Sevier County and Clinic staff make very efficient and effective use of the resources they are given in order to maximize the positive impact on our community and help those in need.  They stay focused on the fundamentals and on their mission.”
